Zion National Park – 20th

Zion is an incredible place but due to heavy rain many of the areas we wanted to hike were closed. Charlie, Grace and I were geared up for hiking Angels’s Landing but had to pass on that as well. Definitely a spot where you could spend a few days.

Driving the camper through the park was sketchy as it was very steep and curvy roads. We also had to pay a $15 fee to pass through the tunnel because they have to stop traffic on both sides for you.

We were going to boondock/dry camp (on federal land with no hookups) but with the temp at 106 we decided to push west and find a regular RV site.

Parking is limited at Zion so we parked in Springdale and caught the shuttle.
Nice roof arrangement on a van parked near us.
Catching the shuttle once in the park feels a little like Disney compared to the other parks we visited.
The kids love the CreativeSchools.com shirts and wear them everywhere. With Benjamin spreading the brand on the west coast we may need to open a school in Santa Barbara.
The Excursion in its natural habitat….the gas station!
