Day Something!

We’ve lost track of what day it is but have made it to our site in Albuquerque, NM and things are going really well.

• Tulsa, OK – Gathering Place was incredible but we ended up in the ortho urgent care. Charie was playing basketball and rolled his ankle. 2 hour wait and $100 confirmed it was not anything major.
• Red Hills, OK – On the way to Texas we saw our first wind turbine generators and our goal, of course, was to get as close to one as we could. Dina pulled the address for the Red Hills Wind Farm which took us off Hwy 40 but was an excellent place to have lunch. They have 80 wind turbines that can power up to 40,000 homes.
• Amarillo, TX – Dina had promised a canyon theatre experience in Amarillo but driving in completely flat we did not believe her. But 30 minutes from Amarillo, down two land roads that are 75mph, there is a group that has been performing for 54 years.
• Albuquerque, NM – The drive to NM was tough with an unforgiving head wind that caused us to burn $100 gas in 4-5 hours. The site has an incredible view of the mountains and great amenities so we are good to go!
