Day 2 – Memphis, TN

A very emotional experience visiting the site where Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.,  was assassinated in 1968. Certainly a tragic part of our history.

A tourist trap for sure but enjoyed a quick visit to the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid to get a fishing rod.

Today 6/9 was another good day on the road and finished up with dinner in Memphis. We attempted to visit the Civil Rights museum in Memphis but forgot most things close early on Sunday. One thing we will certainly lose track of is what day of the week it is. Where the camp site in Knoxville was empty this KOA is packed due to flooding of other parks in the area.
